I took Emma to the American Girl Store in LA with Suzie, Chloe, Angela and Kyla. We had TONS of fun. We had a reservation for tea for the six of us but including the dolls, it was the nine of us. The cafe had special seats for your doll to sit in, and even doll sized plates and tea cups. Too cute!
Brian took Chloe to her first Father/Daughter dance at Paloma Elementry. Since he is her uncle and her father had to work Brian stepped in and made sure she had a really good night. He brought her a bouquet of flowers and made sure his outfit matched her dress. Again, too cute!
The very next day we left for our annual trip to Big Bear. We went with 3 other families for a total of 15 people; 8 adults and 7 children. It sounds like chaos, and it was, but the cabin was so big that it didn't become a problem. There was a game room downstairs with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Upstairs there was 2 more bedrooms, 2 more bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. We watched the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics, celebrated Kyla's 6th birthday and Valentine's Day while we were up there. We also played in TONS of snow and made many snowmen! Lots of good memories were made that weekend. The theme song for the weekend was, "There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation..." If you know that part, you'll know the rest.
We came home and Keira decided to be girly that night. I had to take pictures, and video, and call my mom over just so that I could have proof and a witness of it all! I didn't think anyone would believe me. Ok world, here's the proof!
It started with a tiara...
Then it went to a tiara, gown, a flower in her hair and her prince charming - Mickey Mouse.
