The house is ours!

Well, we did it! The house is officially ours. We've already started our renovations of tearing out baseboards and installing ceiling fans. Our appliances will be delivered on Friday. Brian has really taken to the idea of home-ownership. He is excited to have more space...his own space. He feels his "spaces" have been taken over by girls. First me, then Lucy, and then Keira. Now he will have a garage and an office all to himself. As for me, I'm excited to have my sewing and crafts available all of the time. Keira has discovered the stairs in our two-story house. Up and down is all she does when she is there. She took a tumble recently, and has not been back since :) As for Lucy, I don't think the richest person could buy a house big enough for our cat and her ego. Lucy will be the last thing we move. She may even go on vacation to Aunt Suzie's house for a little while. Chloe has offered to take care of her while we are moving. She was recently asked why she thought we were looking for a bigger house and her answer was, "So they can get a bigger cat?" Oh, that's all we need! A bigger cat with a bigger ego.
